Myrtle Beach Real Estate – Market Update
Recession over in Myrtle Beach: It may not feel like it, but economists say the recession is officially over in Myrtle Beach. According to the financial research firm Moody’s Economy, 79 metro areas in the country, including three in South Carolina, are in recovery. Moody’s research is based on the latest data on jobs, manufacturing, and housing.

We are all hoping it is over. But, jobs are a big issue and they lag far behind. I hope that prices in the real estate markets start to firm. We need to get a pricing model back so that construction and resume moderately. Right now construction is at a standstill, and so are jobs.
