Here is something that you might not have known. South Carolina has the toughest golf course in the US. Not only the toughest but South Carolina has two golf courses that rank in the top 50 toughest courses according to Golf Digest Magazine. The toughest course is in Kiawah Island, SC (a Pete Dye designed course). It is said that this course can bring tears to the pros. The second golf course South Carolina has in the top 50 toughest would be ranked at 37, and is the Legends in Myrtle Beach, SC (another course designed by Pete Dye). They say more railroad ties than common sense, and even some of the cart paths are railroad ties. If you are a golfer, come and try your swing at one of our many courses along the Grand Strand. Who knows, it may not be too tough for you!
