Well, it looks like the beaches in North Myrtle Beach will see the renourishment soon. According to the North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce the equipment should start arriving in the area around August 4th (today) and the pumping is scheduled to start August 11th. The goal is to put the sand across a little over 8 ½ miles. They plan to start on the northern tip of North Myrtle Beach and move south during the renourishment.
