This weekend was the official debut of Broadway at the Beach’s latest attraction. Stretching across Broadway’s lake is the new Soar & Explore Zip Line. This Zip Line is the first in the Myrtle Beach area and the only Zip Line over water on the East Coast. The cost to ride across the lake and back is around $20. Accompanying the grand opening of the Zip Line is the previously opened Ropes Challenge Course. “Well, I’m scared of heights so it’s definitely intimidating. But, going down there, the wind, it’s fun looking down and seeing all the fish and the ducks and coming back and it’s fast,” said Christopher Thompson, one of the first people to try out the zip line.
