As a home owner in Myrtle Beach what is the minimum time frame you would need to schedule a showing? How about if you have your home listed for sale, 
and because of the sign in your front yard (or the lockbox on the door handle) a Realtor passes by and calls to schedule a showing immediately? We all know that if your home is listed for sale then you should have it in ready to show condition at all times. Granted, that isn’t exactly the top thing on your mind if you are in the process of selling your home.
I know it can be frustrating when a real estate agent calls to show your home and they are in the driveway expecting to come in within seconds. I had my home listed for sale (prior to becoming an agent) and they called 
while I was in the shower. Of course, no one answered the phone and the agent was told to just knock and if no one answers the door just show the home. Well, I didn’t hear the phone so I wasn’t going to be able to hear the knock. Needles to say, getting out of the shower I heard voices (not the ones in my head) and I was fully dressed in a matter of about 2, maybe 2.5 seconds. I didn’t have time to dry off, and I am sure by the wet clothes look I was sporting it made everyone feel a little awkward. So awkward, that they decided to buy the property.
This isn’t always a bad situation when a Realtor walks in announced. On two occasions, I have been informed (by the property owner) to show a property only to find someone living there and that owner was unaware of the renter.
I think this is a catch 22, but please be ready to either get dressed really fast or always be prepared to show your home at a moments notice.
I would have to say that there is always a silver lining. Sometimes you might just have to spend a little more time looking, but it is always there.
