As animal lovers, we want to keep you up to date and aware of your furry friends rights and restrictions in the Myrtle Beach area. First, remember to keep your dog on a leash when leaving your property, the leash law is in effect at all times! However, if you want to let your dogs socialize, run and play, LEASH FREE, bring them to the Myrtle Beach BARK PARK. The Bark Park is 11 acres completely enclosed with 5 ft high fences and even features a medium size lake for swimming and other play, doggy shower, training structure, picnic tables and has lots of shade for those extra sunny days. There are separate areas for large and small dogs and it’s completely FREE! The park is located in Seagate Village Community in the old Air Force Base, across from Myrtle Beach State Park. (If you decide to bring your doggy, please leave us some feedback!!). Also, if your dog is a beach bum, you’ll need to know that dogs are not permitted on public beaches in Myrtle Beach from 9:00am-5:00pm from May 15 through September 15 each year icon smile Myrtle Beach Pet 411 The Bark Park .
