Myrtle Beach Foreclosures, Short Sales, and REOs

Here’s a new one that I haven’t even considered. With the rise in foreclosures and short sales this has had an impact on the renters’ side as well. When the owners of these properties have them on a rental program and a renter is occupying the property they might not be aware that the property ends up in a foreclosure. Here in Myrtle Beach a big number of properties are on rental programs whether oceanfront or 15 minutes away from the ocean. Even from condos to homes there are a number of properties on rental programs. Now, we might not be seeing the numbers in Myrtle Beach REOs, short sales, or even foreclosures as other areas, but we do have them. This may not be a big problem right now, but we should pay attention as I feel that we are going to start to see more of the affects of Short Sales in Myrtle Beach and the foreclosures that they sometimes end up in. As you can see, foreclosures don’t just hurt the neighborhood values. There are many areas of concern when dealing with Myrtle Beach foreclosures, short sales, and REOs.

Contact the Willis Team for help finding these short sales, foreclosures, or the REOs here in Myrtle Beach or the surrounding areas.
