Expansion Plan for Myrtle Beach Airport Approved

The Myrtle Beach Community Appearance Board approved the plan for an expansion at the airport. This approval gives the green light for work to begin on the $130 Million expansion. This includes laying foundation and clearing the path for the extension of Harrelson Blvd. Since the Airport is in city limits, the appearance board has the final say on the expansion’s construction and appearance. The expansion will add five gates, bringing the total to 12, and almost doubling the terminal’s size.
