Gas is coming down, finally. Considering 
the price of a barrel of oil, the gas should be lower than it is. Who gets the money; the gas station, the truck driver delivering the gas, or the oil companies? Either way we are just happy that the gas has finally gone below $3 per gallon here in Myrtle Beach. But when is it going to be priced right, and how do we get it to where it needs to be?
Currently there are a number of gas stations that are being checked into for price gouging in South Carolina so we do have the right people keeping an eye out for the consumers. But, there are still problems when oil is lower than it has been in several years, but the gas prices aren’t. They need to correct the gas prices and let us start taking some steps to get our economy back on track.
The price of gas has hurt the tourist areas and the travel or vacation destinations of America. Fewer people want to travel with the gas prices where they have been. However, with the price being under $3 per gallon vacation spots like Myrtle Beach should start seeing more visitors and traffic.
