Well, it is that time of year again when the Carolina Forest Community Center holds their football clinic. My son (David Jr.) was out there last night going from one section to the other. This football clinic isn’t the same thing as a physical, but rather a way for the coaches to assess where the children’s strengths are. So, they go from one section to another while the coaches for their age group watches them. They had the sprinting a one section, the throwing in another, catching at the next, coordination on the far side of the field (next to the “Summit”), and the tackling right next to the announcement booth. It was fun watching all of the different age groups get out there to show their skills, and with the beautiful weather here in Myrtle Beach it made for the perfect evening. Last year my son played for the Bengals, and from what I hear, our team has changed there name from the Bengals to the Colts for this year. I guess we will have to wait and see how we fare this year!!
