Seems quite a few people miss our amusement park in North Myrtle Beach and definitely were not happy when closing the Pavilion in Myrtle Beach. A lot of visitors coming to the Grand Strand stated that North Myrtle Beach does not have anything fun to do. Most of them had to drive south to enjoy what the beach has to offer. Well, looks like that will change this summer!!
When the tourists said they want an amusement park in North Myrtle Beach, the message was heard loud and clear. A few investors have joined hands and decided to construct a new park right in the heart of North Myrtle Beach. The site is already under way and will be located between Main Street and 1st Ave South. This also was the original location the Ocean Drive Pavilion once stood.
With the traffic that the Pavilion brought to the Myrtle Beach Area, we should see quite a few people wanting to stay up on the North End of the beach. This should also help with the North Myrtle Beach Businesses as quite a few people will want to hang out and enjoy everything close by. The City of North Myrtle Beach is very happy that we are bringing in more enjoyment for families and thinks this will be a positive attraction for all vacationers coming to enjoy the Grand Strand!!
