The 26th annual Taste of the Town competition is hitting Myrtle Beach. On Tuesday, October 27 there will be 56 restaurants, including 12 new to the area, competing to provide you the finest food around. Last year over 10,000 people attended the event. It is a great way to sample multiple styles of food, ranging from Blue Elephant Thai Cuisine to Tommy Bahama’s Tropical Café. New to taste of the town this year is the wine patio. The event is also for a great cause, the money raised goes to St. Andrew Catholic School. Taste of the Town will be held at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center from 4-10 p.m. Tickets are $5 at the door. There will be live entertainment people of all ages. So make it a family night, bring the kids and don’t forget your appetites.
